I go in spurts

I tend to get lazy an not update this thing. Apologies! Lots have happend since the last update. I turned 23! My mother came down and a group of us all went out to get some delicious eats!

We all went to the Uppper Room after that for a drunkin evening. I wish I was able to remember most of it but needless to say it was a blast.

Thanksgiving happend recently. Let me tell you I at way way way to much food. I know everybody says that but seriously i had six dinners in four days. Lets get real here. The first one was really fun. My good friend Brad and his girlfriend Megan hosted a friend dinner at their spot which was super fun. I will say I figured out what my picture would look like if it was in a church directory.

There will be more to come, I have to go to work now and fight the freezing cold. Hope everyone stays warm.

Love This Edit

I saw this today on prollys blog. If you have three minutes watch this. This is my favorite type of edit, put together in a truly amazing way!

VéLOrue Montage from Bill Bottriell on Vimeo.

More from the B-Flo fixed gear crew, VéLOrue. Remember, there are mountains in upstate NY, not just hills. These dudes mix it up with a healthy dose of nice cinematography, riding fast and doing tricks. Dig the last clip.

Looking good guys! Love the music too.

Jail Spot

Last night we headed out to the Jail Spot, (I dont know what else to call it). It was super fun. We were joined by some of my good dudes from the skateboarding scene who were just as stoked on the spot as us! It was so nice to chill with Mikey B and Tubbs, we don't do that enough! MOONTOWER!

Brad showed up to snap some shots for us. Zach was poppen off of course, Elgin was getting some big spins on the bank. Overall a pretty fun evening! Here are a few pics for you all!

I have been slacken....

So first things first it has been a while since I have made a post. I suck, I know, but big things are happening. First things first I am so stoked that I bought a ticket to Orlando for their screening of The Revival. I can't wait to get back to the sunshine state. I am going to be traveling with my good friend Brad Pickens, who used to dwell in the 407. If all goes well, I hope to ride with some of the dudes from the 407 fixed. Their blog is pretty dope.

This weekend is Friday the 13th! If you don't have any plans and want to do something, check out this party in Louisville! Its going to be warehouse style with some pretty legit DJ's including Action Jackson.

Saturday I am taking myself down to Bloomington to check out Heavy GUN's very own, Grey Granite with Andy D. If you haven't ever had the chance to check out Andy D you need to, some of the funniest shit I have ever seen.

I could not be happier!

With how Saturday night turned out!. Seriously one of the better nights I have had in years! I don't even know where to begin! Monster Mash was epic! Never in our wildest dreams would we have expected 72 racers (including people from out of state), 35 volunteers and 4 photographers. This is by far the biggest bike race the Indianapolis scene has ever put out! Chris Kellar and Myself started Monster Mash last year with the goal to give people something fun to do on Halloween.

This year we adopted a new member to the Monster Mash Comitee, Mike Pike. Without the help of this kid, Monster Mash Monopoly Edition would have never even got on its feet! Seriously Mike was a God!

Here are a few pictures from the race!

After the race we all headed over to another project of mine, Freaks and Geeks! This was the after party for the race and let me tell you it went down BONKERS style! These guys kept the tunes pumping all night!

Massan

I thoroughly enjoy watching this dude ride. He is so freaking smooth. I dig the lines he chooses. If this doesn't make you want to get out and cruise through some traffic, I don't know what will!

Its officially less than a week away! I am so ready for this race its ridiculous. So much work has gone into it, I know it will pay off. The after party is at the Murphy Building in fountian square. With DJ's Action Jackson, Z, yaZ, and B Qwyatt along with Oreo Jones and Grey Granite. Its shaping up to be a wonderful event. Hope everyone can come out and have some fun!

Mudlove

One of my good friends Luke Wright is doing something truly amazing, Its called Mudlove Pottery. Luke has a degree in ceramics and is putting it to good use. Mudlove is a wonderful concept which will give help to people who need it. The Village at Winona will be the home of Luke's new shop. After every five dollars of product sold, a dollar will go to providing children in Africa clean drinking water for a year. Knowing Luke, I can assure this project will take off and become a beautiful thing. He is very passionate about his work. If you want to know more about this project contact me. Its in the infant stages but a website will be up soon! Check out some more pics here!

A new project from the UK is brewing. Read up below:

The full film will be released sometime in 2010.

Shot on a JVC Everio HD3 with a Century Optics Wide Angle Lens and various mounts for on bike filming as well as a JVC Everio HD5 with JAG35E DOF adapter and 50mm f1.4 Canon Lens.

Bike Polo Madness

So where to begin? First things first Indianapolis Bike Polo will be playing at this months First Friday at the Harrison Center (16th and Delaware). "CYCLES OF ADDICTION" (This First Fridays theme is "addiction.") This will be a fun time and for those of you who regularly play on Mondays and Thursdays will be pumped cause this is a closed course! The games should be fast pace!

With all that said, I found this over at Indycog. Basically I want this more than I wanted a remote control car for Christmas when I was seven!

More info on this here and at Urban Velo.

This is a pretty sweet little edit I found at a pretty dope blog called South Florida Fixed. Check it out!

And finally we come to an interesting article about Bike Polo. This is a good read! Check it here.
